How we grade evidence
Every ingredient carries an evidence badge so you can weigh how well-studied it is. We want you to make an informed choice β including choosing not to take something.
Consistent results from multiple high-quality human trials and meta-analyses. Well-established benefits and risks.
Several supportive human studies, but with some limitations or mixed findings. Generally promising.
Early human data, mostly small studies, animal/mechanistic research, or emerging compounds. Treat with caution.
Long history of traditional use with limited modern clinical trials. Valued culturally; evidence still developing.
"Preliminary data" flag
Some entries also carry a Preliminary dataflag. This means our own data-verification pass marked a value (a dose ceiling, an interaction, or a claim) as lower-confidence and worth extra scrutiny. We'd rather show you that honestly than imply more certainty than exists.
Compliant claims only
Benefits are written as structure/function statements ("helps supportβ¦") β never disease claims β in line with FDA and Health Canada rules. Each ingredient lists the official sources behind its information.
Educational only β not medical advice. Evidence evolves; consult your physician for decisions about your health.
