Safety & how to use Bergamot
- Always dilute. Never apply neat — blend into a carrier oil before any skin or scalp use.
- Phototoxic.Avoid UV/sun exposure for 12–18 hours after any leave-on application and keep leave-on use at or below 0.4%, or choose the bergapten-free (FCF) / distilled variant.
- Not for ingestion. Do not swallow or take internally.
- Keep away from children and pets. Store out of reach.
- Patch-test first. Apply a small diluted amount to your inner forearm and wait 24 hours before wider use. Discontinue if irritation occurs.
